Practical help for every stage of your interlock program.
From a first installation to the final authorized removal, Kansas LifeSafer helps you understand the service you need and prepare for the next appointment.
We welcome inquiries from all 105 Kansas counties, with special attention to Reno, Butler, Harvey, Sumner, Harper and Johnson. Share your county so we can discuss available service access and appointment details.
Compare the full program cost, plan your visit and bring your questions. Our family-owned business brings 15 years of experience to the conversation.
Tell us your vehicle year, make and model, your county, and the requirements you have received. We help you prepare for installation and learn how to provide a breath sample, respond to prompts and care for your LifeSafer device.
Confirm your appointment, documents and quote before traveling. Installation verification is part of the Kansas process; an installation alone does not authorize driving.
Calibration and monitoring visits keep device service and reporting on schedule. Bring questions about your device, upcoming travel or your next service date so you can plan ahead.
Kansas Highway Patrol describes monitoring as usually monthly. Follow the schedule assigned to your device and program.
A device message, lockout or planned vehicle repair can raise questions. Record the exact message and contact your provider for instructions. Ask before a battery replacement or other work that could interrupt the device.
Changing vehicles or providers? Discuss the paperwork and service arrangements first. Do not disconnect, bypass or move the device yourself.
Removal starts with confirming that your program requirements are complete. Check your restriction end date with KDOR Driver Solutions and arrange the final download with your provider.
KDOR must issue an order removing the restriction before you schedule removal. We help you organize the appointment once the required authorization is in place.
